RELAXATION

SILVER CLIFFS INN

Bed and Breakfast

If your looking for a really peaceful and relaxing time then this is the place. Of course, this was my first stay in a B & B so I might be just a little biased. The two wonderful ladies, Deanna and Della, make you feel pampered and right at home, but they never intruded into our privacy.

My Room
The area was so quiet and laid back, which really enhanced the relaxation. No noise other than the sounds you make or the t.v. that you decide to watch. No phones ringing, kids scampering about, work to do, yes nothing but relaxing to do.

We didn't have anything except, our place to stay, where we were going for lunch on Saturday and our "Lethal Weapon" film fest planned out, everything else we just kind of winged it.  That plan-to not plan, worked out perfectly. No time limits, no schedules just FUN!!!  The only time we didn't just talk and have fun was on the long ride home...that's why, we were headed home and there isn't much to say about that.

The view in front
 of the Planetarium
All three of us wanted to just stay there, it was that nice. Della and Deanna were interesting to meet and talk to at breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning. Great food and conversation not to mention getting to meet the other guests, awaited us each morning. On Saturday morning we met a couple from England that were visiting and looking for flea market finds just like Melissa was. Sunday we met a couple from Nashville who were celebrating their Anniversary. They talked about having a big family and how she always made (crochet) the blankets for the new additions to the family.

On the road Saturday
On Saturday after lunch at Patti's we went to a Planetarium, then the Elk and Bison Prairie before returning to sanctuary again at Silver Cliff's. On Sunday after breakfast (which we kind of stretched out) I settle our bill and thanked Deanna and Della once again for a wonderful experience and said we would be coming back when we could.

From there we headed to Nashville to see the American Pickers (they have a Television show) shop, well one of them anyway.  This one was called Antique Archeology and it was cool. In one of the episodes the guys came across a giant pigs head (not a real pig) that had written on it at the bottom "Kiss me you fool", that was in this shop-here I have proof....

See it really does have
" Kiss Me You Fool "
written on it.

After that we went to Opry Mills Mall to eat at a 50's style restuarant before heading home, ugh...we had to come home.
