   WAITING FOR THE SUN

     Well, where do I begin.........It is now a new year (2016 to be exact) and so much has happened that I scarcely know where to begin.  

     My Brother did finally get hired back and has finally been bumped to full-time.  I've moved up the ladder to Cashier now and have finally gotten full-time.  I am still trying to find something that would be day shift, but it's hard to find something that would be full-time with the same rate of pay as what I have now.

      I have (thanks to my parents) my own car that I enjoy driving, well I'm making payments on it, but it's mine to drive. My wonderful parents co-signed on a loan for me so I could get it, so I have to make sure I keep the payments made. I'm striving to one day be able to afford my own place, but until then I guess I'm stuck sharing with my Brother.

     It seems that the worst of the winter is (hopefully) behind us now.  I'm waiting for the Sun to come out, although I don't know why-I'm not going to be able to get out and enjoy it much. I usually only get two days off, I spend most of the first day sleeping and the second doing the stuff around the house that I've neglected all week.

    I have pain in my right foot due to a small bone spur in my heel and a bunion. At work it usually doesn't bother me until the early morning hours (then it tries to kill me).  As you can tell I haven't done much writing and I haven't sold much of my handy work of knitting or crocheting.

     But, I'm still here. Still just plodding along. Still dreaming of a better tomorrow. Still wishing that today was tomorrow and still dealing with the fact that it is not. Oh, and yeah, Still Waiting for the Sun...........
